I will be visiting my sis in Superior, Colorado (which is near Denver) over Thanksgiving break. I’ve never been snowboarding out West and, though I know its a little early, I would like to spend a day at a resort. Which resorts will be most open (# of runs/ best snow)? I’ll probably never have this opportunity again, so I’d like to go some place amazing — ideally, with a cool ski town with shops and things.

But most importantaly, which place will have the best snowboarding during this time of year?

My friends and I (mid 20s) are taking a snowboarding trip to McCall ID. We’ll have a car, so we can drive almost anywhere and I was wondering if anyone had good suggestions of places to see/things to do etc. I’ve done some research online, but I would rather have a local perspective… Also, where is the best place to get a potatoe?!?
